Meet Dwight
Home grown on a dairy farm in Sheldon Vermont, meet Dwight, the proud owner of D.A.M. Good Wood.
Dwight found his passion for carpentry after leaving the farm one summer and finding a job with a construction company. No stranger to hard work, Dwight quickly picked up his new trade and started exploring the many creative possibilities of carpentry and woodworking.
His parents, Terry and Joanne, saw his knack for carpentry and put him to work renovating an old barn they had recently purchased. The barn was sanded, stained, up-cycled, and repaired until it became their now famous antiques, cars and collectibles emporium in West Enosburg Vermont, Country Boy Classics. This would be the first of many projects in his future as his creative solutions and eclectic style gained popularity around northern Vermont.
Nature is the real artist, according to Dwight. He’s just here to put the pieces together.
When Dwight isn’t in his shop he loves mountain biking, hiking, and a cold I.P.A. He is a retired vocalist for a metal band (or two) and has been to more concerts than you can shake a stick at.
Dwight and his wife, Alice, live in beautiful Montgomery Center Vermont with their three rescue dogs and a barn cat named Tommy.
